Week 7

In act 3 of the tempest the dialogue between Miranda and Ferdinand displays rhetoric. Miranda offers for Ferdinand to either take a break or let her help. She uses the fact that they both have emotional feelings for eachother in order to persuade ferdinand to spend time with her. this appeals to pathos and emotion, Ferdinand counters by following the gender expectations of the time period and refusing to let her help. This applies to logic and logos.

Me and my sister were debating which puzzle we should buy at hobby lobby. I stated that the smaller the puzzle is the easier it will be therefore making it less frustrating and more fun, this applies to pathos as i catered to emotion. She countered with the fact that the more time we spend doing the puzzle the less time we have to fill with other more boring activities. In the end we decided to buy a two thousand piece puzzle as it would take the most time to put together which applies to pathos as well.

IN our minecraft realm there was a theft, one player claimed their stone was stolen. They cought another player with a wealth of stone and immediately accused them. He applied logic as the player in questioning had a mass amount of stone. The suspect counters by sharing a video of the stone farm that they spent 8 hours at. This also applies to logic. In the end the suspect was freed from further questioning as his farm was viable and produced the same amount that he had.
