Shakespeare’s writing can be utilized in schools to further develop students reading comprehension as well as to move them towards using their own interpretations of writings in their works. Furthermore students will have to adapt to the old english as for many students, Shakespeare’s works will be their first introduction to writings from another time. Finally shakespeare is for many an introduction into more mature and serious themes as his writings are often the first taste students get of themes like, ambition, greed, love and honor.
I noticed rhetoric this weekend when i was with my friends at the thrift store, one said we should leave to go to sonic because it was happy hour. She was using logos as she stated,”We should go now cause everything will be cheaper.” Another person countered with,” but its more fun here and i don’t want to go in the cold.” This applies to logos and pathos as the fun is emotional and the logic of not getting wet is surefire.

A teacher and a student are arguing over a project grade. The teacher states that the project should be a minor grade as the work done was not to the level he wanted and would hurt most of the class. The student states that just because other students are lazy does not mean they should get a break. The hard working students should have their hard work accounted for.
